Virtual Reality (or VR) is the use of technology to generate fully three-dimensional, interactive environments by computer. Augmented Reality (or AR) mix elements the real and virtual worlds.

We seek in Corollarium to use VR and AR in simple and intuitive ways. Their applications are numerous:

• Training and simulation: virtual world allows trainings to be done more quickly, cheaply and safely.

• Entertainment: games, attractions for children's buffets.
• Marketing: call attention to your business.
• Education: taking advantage of the interactivity and more natural and playful interfaces, VR and AR are great tools to assist in education.

Interaction through gestures and images

We rResearched natural ways to interact with the applications, without using keyboards, mice or other equipment: only the natural human movement.

• Allows the visitor to have information interactively.
• Activated by gestures – is not touch, the person may be distant from the screen.
• Can be integrated into videowall or immersive environment.
• We can create informative games

Augmented Marketing

Augmented Marketing is the ability to provide customers with information about brands and products, with interaction, both fun and informative, always with interesting and renovated contents. Its goal is to prevent the client to perceive the marketing action as an advertisement that takes up his time without bring an enjoyable experience. In augmented marketing the client can interact with the information as he wants.

Distributed and cloud computing

We develop applications and platforms for distributed computing and cloud computing. LibGlass is a library for distributed computing. Its goal is to be as transparent as possible to the developer, but keeping efficiency and portability in mind. The library is released under LGPL license.

Applications for mobile devices

Corollarium develops applications for mobile devices, by integrating them with their other technologies of virtual and augmented reality.

Wiki on Virtual and augmented reality

Wiki is a Web-based technology platform that allows the construction of knowledge through collaboration. The pages and their content are created by anyone and can be altered at any time by others. So different visions about the same topic are joined by generating increasingly solid knowledge.

Corollarium believes in the power of collaborative knowledge and created an open wiki for virtual and augmented reality. The wiki is available both in Portuguese and English, and its contents range from introductory to the state of the art.

Corollarium Technologies provides hosting for the wiki, as well as editing pages with knowledge generated in the company.
